Ocean of Islam was founded in 2016 by Shaykh Yaquob Ahmed with a singular mission: to make rigorous, traditional Islamic learning accessible online — without compromising on depth or scholarship.
Since launching, Ocean of Islam has grown into a comprehensive learning platform, with structured courses across Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Qur'an, and Islamic history — each delivered by qualified instructors with formal training.
Beyond classroom learning, we provide translation, marriage, and pilgrimage services to the wider Muslim community in the UK and abroad.
